Hero Labs is excited to be exhibiting at CEDIA Expo 2019, in ‘Innovation Alley’. Showcasing Sonic for the first time in the US, the Hero Labs team will give visitors a first-look at the product’s unique design, installation and leak stopping features, providing a great upgrade for existing clients’ homes or a smart device with a purpose for new projects.
Globally, domestic and commercial water leaks are a huge issue. In the U.S. the destruction caused to homes by leaky plumbing and appliances is second only to wind and hail. Household leaks can waste more than 1 trillion gallons annually.. This is why Sonic was born, to counter-act this problem and combat leaks in real time.
Sonic is the smartest leak defender ever designed. It is AI-powered, combining HD Ultrasonic flow, pressure and temperature sensors with SmartShield, our user-customisable automatic water shutoff valve.
Sonic allows landlords, property developers, businesses owners and facilities managers to protect their properties from damage and loss of income. Our aim is to share the benefits of Sonic with consumers and businesses to help them save money by preventing water leaks and the planet by eliminating water waste.
Hamish Neale, Commercial Director of Hero Labs, says “We are delighted to be exhibiting at CEDIA EXPO this year and to be in Innovation Alley (let’s face it, the real action at Expo happens in Innovation Alley). CEDIA is the cornerstone of the professionally designed, installed and integrated home industry, and Expo provides us an exceptional platform to share Sonic with the world’s best custom installers.

About Hero Labs
Hero Labs is a London tech start-up using cutting-edge technology to combat water leaks in UK homes and businesses. Its flagship product, Sonic, is a smart leak defence system that combats leaks in real time. Fitted easily, in most cases under the sink, it’s the only product in the UK to use ultrasonic technology to monitor water use and then spot anything unusual using AI – from a slow dripping tap, to a burst water pipe. Hero Labs was founded by Krystian Zajac, who launched the UK’s first smart home insurer, Neos.
